Saturday Night,... Off to See Hollister Fracus

I'm chillin at Casa Producer with Producerdaughter (Joe Ann):

I just showed her this blog and she was dissapointed that I hadn't written about her, so here goes...
I took her to buy a CD (she got the new Taking Back Sunday). When we get home, she asks me to make her a sandwich!!!!!!
When I suggested that I detected a distinct lack of gratitude, she went on to tell me how I never do anything for her!!!!!!!!
(This behavior has a lot to do why Producermama-Christi bailed to spend the weekend with her Dad & Sis, one hundred miles north of here).

In a few minutes, Logan and I are going to see Htown rock heavies, Hollister Fracus. I'm talking to Aerik (manager) and Jim (frontman, singer) about producing vocals on their already stunning tracks. This would be cool because a) they really are amazing, b) Jim is super talented, and c) Manager Aerik has the MOST rock'n'roll name I have ever seen in print!!! I wish I was 'Aerik Workman',... how cool is that? Tonight I get to experience the vibe first hand. On the way out, Logie can tell me all about the Incubus show last night.

Yesterday, while working with Joyce Pierce:

Producer Assistant, Josh Applebee on the right, SugarHill intern, Jake, and of course Joyce. We had a great session, although at the end I sort of found it hard to communicate with the outside world. Yep, my verbal skills were totally off. Heck, my entire diplomacy-social skill set slid right into the crapper,.... tired I guess (sorry guys), but the work was sterling,... it passed the next day test...

While we were working, Craig Byrnes (WTL Records), brought one of his new artists by. His name is Evan Gold, and he plays, by his description, 'Punk Folk". (I'm interested). I cut myself out of the picture because I looked HORRIBLE!!!!!!!:

No mention of your bike ride... Why did you think the pic looked so horrible of you? (Were you having a bad hair day?)

How much longer is ProducerDaughter grounded from the computer? Hasn't she paid enough? (It's so much fun to armchair parent!!!)

Could you possibly suck up anymore about Hollister? I mean, I was starting to get a headache from all the sugar dripping off it. (kidding!)

Hope things are going utterly ducky.
