Here's what I first wrote about Anne: "Anne Loo. Anne has been working on a treasure trove of songs. When we met, I was very interested in working with her because her songs were good, she has a very good voice, and I understood her influences. It didn't hurt that we got along like old friends. The bar was raised several notches when local producer/musician, Eric Jarvis, joined our team." All of that still applies as we finished our second set off songs. This song, "Perfect Rainy Day" was our epic tune of the set. The story line is excellent (listen and find out), and the melodic content is equally sophisticated. The 6/8 outro gave Anne, Eric, Dennis Dotson, and Paul English a chance to stretch out. Sublime.
