Song Writing 101
Last night, Rich Whiting and I had the pleasure of being guest lecturers in JJ Worthen's song writer's workshop at River Pointe Church in Richmond, Texas. Ignacio Gonzalez was one of the participants and he wrote a cool blog entry on the evening's proceedings.
Rich and I had a blast, and I learned something in the process (like, I was probably the least skilled song writer of the bunch). Check out the the blog here.
By the way, this is a bust of the Epic Poet, Homer. He was one of the topics of discussion at the workshop. Weighty!
In other news, Rich, JJ and I had our first official pre production session for JJ's upcoming EP! This has been years in the making, and we are all pumped. Stay tuned for more information, and possibly video, of the process.
