Sarah, Alico, HAPPY HOLIDAYS

Sarah Sharp has inked a distribution deal with Red Eye Distribution to put out her incredible CD, 'Fourth Person'. I am so proud of Sarah. Her music is doing just what I knew it would. Transcending the moment and building a following logarithmically. We have resequenced the CD for the distribution release plus have added a new song, "Blame It On the Night. Sarah and Kevin Ryan collaborated to create the song for a film soundtrack. The song is so good we had to have it on the CD, so there it is. I'll post it on the Soundboard, but you really need to hear the full-bandwidth goodness. Kevin recorded and mixed it and did an exceptional job as usual. (How do you use the word 'exceptional' to describe Kevin and Sarah's work anyway,...). :)

Way to go Sarah!

Those that have been reading this blog know about my history with Houston band, Mark Needs a Chick. You probably also know that Mark and Andrew moved to California and became Alico.

They performed on 12/23 at Java Jazz and it was old home week. Here are a few pics from the show:

As for projects in progress: Joyce Pierce and I have been totally out of sync on cutting vocals, but should be back on track next week. I'm working on Carolina's songs, and Winter Roberts is like missing in action. Literally. She started working two jobs and fell of the face of the earth. The Hollister Fracus vocal production is looming, and I'm looking to really sink my teeth in it. I have had NO band work for 6 months. Zip. Nada. Nothing. I'm totally jonesing to rock out with the boys.

Time to get back to songcraft stuff. I'll try to update much sooner next time.

I was beginning to suffer withdrawals from your updates. I'm glad to hear the creative juices are flowing like honey. (Opps, there goes the garbage truck, guess I'll have to wait until next week!) That was totally off-subject. LOL

I wonder if your creativity works better in relation to different phases of the moon?
